No Place Like Home.
For a while now, I’ve felt like there wasn’t one place where I could fully express myself.
Social media has become a bit of a bog. There’s very little personalization, and unless you’re willing to stitch together fifteen posts into a thread, there’s not much room for thoughtful writing. It feels like you need a dozen different platforms just to show the different parts of who you are.
But why?
I understand that not everyone wants—or can afford—to have their own website. Still, I’ve always wondered why we’ve accepted that our lives and interests have to be scattered across so many different places.
So this is my answer.
This site is my little corner of the internet. A place where I can write about the games I’m playing, the books I’m reading, the movies my wife and I watched over the weekend, or whatever else happens to be on my mind. I don’t expect everything here to be profound or groundbreaking. Sometimes it’ll just be my thoughts, my experiences, and my perspective.
Beyond that, I love photography, traveling, music, sports, and learning new things. Chances are this site will become a collection of all of those interests—a bit of a hodgepodge, but an honest one.
So, thanks for stopping by my little nook of the internet. I hope you find something here that makes your visit worthwhile.
